Useful information:
The Spree is a left tributary of the Havel that flows through the eastern part of Germany, passing through Saxony, Brandenburg, and Berlin. It also flows for 700 meters through the Ústí nad Labem Region in the Czech Republic. The river originates in the Lusatian Mountains and flows into the Havel at Spandau. Due to its low gradient, it flows very slowly, averaging 50 centimeters per second.
